ABOUT Bhoojalashree Hydro Geotech

The Bhoojalashree is an empanelled institute by Government of Maharashtra for German Government supported & World Bank funded projects for drinking water in Maharashtra, Bhoojalashree has been giving services since 1993 in the field of Geology and Hydrogeology. The Ground Water Exploration is the main activity. Beside the Ground Water Exploration, we are giving consultancy services like Mineral Exploration, Watershed Development, Well Development, Rain Water Harvesting and Technical Problem related to water and rocks. So far more than 10,000 above mentioned project have been completed for Government, NGO and Private sectors.
Dr. Suresh Pawar is acting Director, who himself is a Hydro Geologist is responsible for Technical and Hydro Geological study in field and Institute Management.

Dr. Suresh Pawar has done Advanced Study Course from the Eberhard Karl University of Tuebingen (Germany) in the year 1992 with very good grades in Hydrogeology & Engineering Geology. Ph. D from University of Pune in 1995, with Dr. S.B. Devalonkar in Development and Management of Water Resources in Dafalkhiwadi mini watershed, Shirur Taluka, Pune District, Maharashtra.

  • Apla Pani in Khed, Ambegaon, Junnar (2005) - Ground Water Source Identification for Village Drinking Water Scheme.
  • AFRO, Ahmednagar in 2006 – Watershed Management in Yaval Taluka Dist. Jalgaon.
  • Jal Swarajya in Latur, Renapur, Chakur, Ahmedpur - Ground Water Source Identification, strengthening, yield testing & budgeting for Village Drinking Water Scheme.
