BOMBAY INTELLIGENCE SECURITY (INDIA) LIMITED got inception in the year 1976, as a partnership firm and subsequently in the year 1988 the said partnership was dissolved and a new company was incorporated as Private Ltd Company under the Indian Companies Act 1956 and the whole business of partnership company along with assets and liabilities was acquired by this incorporated Private Limited company on 15th July 1996. By virtue of sec 43(a) (1)-(a) of the Companies Act 1956 BIS (I) Pvt. Ltd., acquired the position of Deemed Public Ltd. Company without having any changes in its incorporation and Board of Directors.
Formation of BIS is a well-planned concept of a force, which can guarantee security to a private sector on the pattern of CISF. The Service portfolio of BIS comprises of wide array of security services to Industries & Banks, ATM maintenance, Fire Fighting, Cash Van services, VIP security & many more. In order to update and upgrade its standard, BIS thus decided to open an institute named The Institute of Intelligence and Security Management [IISM] which could deliver the cream of talent so that need based services could be provided to the clients of eminence.

Induction in the force is made on qualifying aptitude, intelligence, physical, written and other tests.
Selected personnel have to compulsorily undergo training in our own training center and pass out courses for designated ranks.
Provides special assistance during labour unrest, local problems and other emergencies, by deploying Senior Officers and extra staff at short notice.
IISM is the only training center in India, which has been accredited as an ISO 9001:2008 Guards Training Institute.
