Hematology Tests:
A Hematology Tests or a Blood Test is a laboratory analysis performed on a blood sample that is usually extracted from a vein in the arm using a needle, or via finger prick.
Blood tests are often used in health care to determine physiological and biochemical states, such as disease, mineral content, pharmaceutical drug effectiveness, and organ function. We undertake Hematology Tests of various types.
Biochemistry Tests:
Measuring the amount or activity of a particular enzyme or protein in a sample of blood or urine or other tissue from the body. We specialize in Biochemistry Tests.
MicrobiologyTests:
Parasitic diseases such as Ascariasis, Hookworm, Strongyloidiasis and whipworm can be diagnosed by examining stools under a microscope for the presence of worm larvae or eggs. Some bacterial diseases can be detected with a stool culture. We conduct Microbiology Tests for our patients.
Endocrinology Tests:
Endocrinology is a branch of biology and medicine dealing with the endocrine system. Endocrinology tests are concerned with study of the biosynthesis, storage, chemistry, biochemical and physiological function of hormones and with the cells of the endocrine glands and tissues that secrete them. We also provide Endocrinology Test services in our lab.
Thyroid Function Test:
Thyroid function tests (TFTs) is a collective term for blood tests used to check the function of the thyroid. TFTs may be requested if a patient is thought to suffer from hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) or hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), or to monitor the effectiveness of either thyroid-suppression or hormone replacement therapy.
A TFT panel typically includes thyroid hormones such as thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH, Thyrotropin) and Thyroxine (T4), and Triiodothyronine.
