Veranda is derived from the Portuguese word 'Baranda', which was often used by the Portuguese people when they had settled on the South - Western shores of India. As far as history is concerned the British learnt is from them. It was used to describe a 'roofed terrace', just outside their exotic colonial homes. This area was used by them mostly for having lunches, dinners, or just a relaxed evening, socializing with their families & friends. Similarly, we as Indians also have come across this simple word many a times. Here at 'Veranda' we have meticulously designed & altered the menu to fit in according to the ambience
