Every club has its own rules and regulations. For example in some clubs it is mandatory to wear formal dress. Rubber chappals are not allowed. Some clubs are open only for members. You can bring a limited number of guests with you. The night clubs or the clubs that operate from a hotel are open to everyone but the right of admission is reserved by the hotel. Only the clubs that operate out of hotels have to take due permissions from the government authorities such as license for serving liquor, if it is a night club and it is open then they have to take permission to cover the dancing area temporarily. They have to seek permission to use speakers for music. They have to follow the rules to protect environment, noise pollution and waste management. The sports clubs also have their own rules and regulations. They have a governing body to decide the rules and regulations. The rules and regulations depend on what game the club is representing. Since the clubs are a voluntary organization the government can provide only guide lines. Each club works according to the governing body of that club. Some clubs in India are very rich as they organize events such as cricket matches and the proceeds go to the club. With the money some of the sports clubs organize training camps to give proper training of the sport to the young enthusiasts. Some clubs work for social cause. |
