- WEE
(waste electrical and electronic equipment) It is
the biggest concern for every country, the target
of this directive is to reduce the electronic waste
for the sake of environment. All the members of
European Union are required to follow this directive.
- RoHS
(Restriction on Hazardous Substances) this directive
restricts the use of hazardous substances like Mercury
and Lead in electronic products. Only a few products
like medical instruments, monitoring devices are
exempted from this directive.
- CE
mark- this directive is followed in European countries.
According to this directive, C E mark is mandatory
on all electronic and electrical equipments which
are sold for the first time in European community.
CE mark on any electronic product proves that the
product fulfills all necessary environmental and
safety requirements according to European Directives.

CCC or 3C (China Compulsory Certificate) - This
directive is followed in china. This is compulsory
safety certification system for the safety of consumer's
interests and rights and to protect the property
and personal safety.
