Different companies make different types of pipes. The variety in pipes is immense. The pipes are known by the material that is used for making it. Pipes are used in the industry as well as in homes.

In the industry huge pipes are needed for water distributions. Gas and oil also is transported through pipes. Sometimes pipes are used as heat conductors. Some of the pipes are :

In houses hollow aluminum pipes are used for either curtain rods or people dry their cloths on them. P V C pipes are used for basins and sinks in the kitchen.

Where ever water is used in the house for its drainage these P V C or plastic pipes are used. They are flexible and easy to maintain but they are not very good for hot water. Normally copper pipes are considered the best for internal water system as they do rust so the maintenance problem is reduced.
