Definition: Textile is
a flexible material made up by either History: Since the
beginning of mankind, human beings are different than
other animals. Very early in the process of civilization
man has invented some kind of fabric. From the Stone
Age to this modern age the art of making textiles
has come a long way. After the
industrial revolution the production of textile has
seen a vast change. But the main types of Textiles
have remained almost the same. Types of Textiles The type of
the textile depends on the material that is used to
make it. Broadly textiles can be divided into two

Natural textiles
are made up by using

fibers. The material is made either by weaving, knitting,
knotting or crocheting or by pressing the fibers together.
