Situated along the north east at Molem, 60 km from Panjim on the road to Belgaum. The famous temple of Tambdisurla of the Kadambas is just 13kms.away.

This zoo, deer park and botanical garden is situated 50 kms from Panjim. Closed on Thursdays. Cottages for tourists available.

Situated at Canacona, 60 kms south of Panjim this is the largest sanctuary in Goa. Houses birds, animals, reptiles.

At land’s end point, it has a platform from where one could see the long stretch of the sea. It is at this point that the Mandovi and Zuari meet the Arabian Sea.

A train journey to Castle Rock from Margao takes you past this small waterfall that disappears into a dense forest. It is a favourite picnic spot and a rich source of material for students of Botony and Zoology.

Margao, an old historical place one of the busiest commercial centres of Salcete. Its antiquity can be gauged by the presence of the Pandava Caves, a prehistoric remnant at Aquem Alto next to St.Sebastian’s Chapel.

Margao has a rail line which links Mormugao with Londa. The Konkan railway passes through this city.

Margao also has the famous Fatorda Stadium.
