We are proud to announce that in the year 2014, we, at A K Danum & Co. celebrated our 53rd anniversary. In the year 1961, we started off as the manufacturers of basic plumbing material such as water taps. Over the years we have evolved into a multi product and diversified company focusing only on bathrooms. Under the guidance and leadership of our founder Mr. Asgar Poonawalla and the hands on management of his two sons, AK DANUM is well on its way to be amongst the top players in the Indian market. Creativity and innovation has guided us to the introduction of coloured powder coated Bathroom fittings for the first time in India in 1985. Similarly the year 1988 saw the launch of another pioneering concept of Washer less Bathroom fittings fitted with Ceramic disc technology. Today, these technologies are common and adapted by almost all manufacturers in India. From Bathroom fittings, we have since diversified into Shower Enclosures, bathroom accessories, ceramic and Glass Sanitary Ware, Stainless Steel Shower Drains and Bathroom Cabinets.
