- Dr. Parikshit Gogate has an experience of more than 45,000 eye surgeries, including 2000 children’s eye surgeries
- He completed his MBBS from B.J. Medical College, Pune in 1992 and master of Surgery in Ophthalmology from the Government medical College, Miraj, with distinction and gold medal in 1997.
- He has done his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburg in 2001 and also completed with distinction a Master of Science in Public health Ophthalmology from International Centre for Eye Health, Institute of Ophthalmology (associated with Moorfield’s Eye Hospital), London in 2001.
- Dr. Parikshit has been a cataract (Phaco & small incision cataract surgery ) trainer at Lions NAB Eye Hospital, Miraj 2002-3, 2009-13 and at H.V.Desai Eye Hospital, Pune from 2002-9.
- Consultant Ophthalmologist at a Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune since December 2001
- Attended the foundation course for the Indian Police Service at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie
