Dr. Madhavi's Advanced Skin, Hair and Laser Clinic

Dr Madhavi did her MBBS from the Andhra Medical College, Vishakapatnam, where she scored distinction in microbiology and pathology. Her keen interest in skin diseases and her interest in skin pathology led her to pursue dermatology residency training at CARE, hospitals. She is one of the few doctors in India to have cleared her DNB degree in the first attempt. She has been certified by the National Board of Examinations.

It is because of the strong interest in dermatopathology (the underlying causes of skin diseases), she has done her dissertation in dermatoscopy which is a non-invasive method for diagnosis of skin conditions. She is one of the few dermatologists in India with vast experience in dermatoscopy.

She is extensively trained in all facets of dermatology and cosmetology, and is now one of the well sought after dermatologist and cosmetologist. The achievements of Dr Madhavi include the prestigious Rao Bahadur memorial prize (gold medal) in microbiology, distinctions in pathology and microbiology. She has presented several papers in various state and national level meets. The Doctor has actively participated in research in chemical peels, acne, dermatoscopy, and drug trials.

 She is adept at various dermatosurgical procedures such as skin grafting (Vitiligo surgery), electrocautery and radiofrequency for removal of moles, and warts, subcission for acne scar reduction, podiatric (Foot) surgery for removal of calluses and corns. She has also trained in latest and most effective diode laser surgery for hair reduction, as well as Fractional CO2 laser for scar reduction. We give equal emphasis to both clinical as well as cosmetic dermatology. We perform all the latest cosmetological procedures.
