ABOUT URVASHI BEAUTY PARLOUR
Urvashi Beauty Parlour was started by Veena Pitre in 1974 as a hobby. In those days there were very few parlour in Pune. Due to her knowledge, skill and hardwork the business increased. Feeling the need to gain more knowledge she travelled to USA, England and Singapore and completed international courses in hairdressing and beauty. She was instrumental in bringing the CIDESCO exam to India. She was a very good teacher and has written a textbook - A Professional Guide To Hair Dressing And Beauty Therapy for aspiring students. Unfortunately she expired in 1994 leaving behind a well established parlour to her son. Utkarsh Pitre has been running Urvashi Beauty Parlour since 1994. Pushpgandha Pitre, his wife manages Urvashi.
Our parlour is large, airy and with plenty of greenery, sunlight and fresh air. Our parlour is centrally located. Urvashi Beauty Parlour, housed in an old-fashioned bungalow, has a very warm homely feel which clients prefer very much. A large number of staff is employed to reduce waiting during peak hours. The staff is trained directly by the cosmetic companies to use their products e.g. L'oreal, Wella, Lotus Professional, Visage O3+ etc. Since giving good service is the main aim of the parlour, selling cosmetics and sales gimmicks are not important to us. Happy clients and happy staff lead to a happier future. Satisfied clients are our best advertisement.
